At CWD, we embarked on a remarkable journey with Huawei subcontractors in Sudan, a global leader in telecommunications, to enhance the safety and well-being of their workforce. This partnership began with a shared vision: to create a safer work environment through comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training.

From the bustling city of Khartoum to the vibrant communities of Nyala and El Fasher, our dedicated team traveled far and wide to deliver tailored OHS training programs. These sessions were meticulously designed by our OHS training department to address the unique challenges of Huawei’s diverse work environments, spanning both construction and general industry.

As we rolled out our training programs, something incredible began to happen. Trust blossomed between our team and Huawei’s management and employees. This trust was the cornerstone of our success, allowing us to foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Our efforts bore fruit in the form of tangible results. Over the course of the project, we witnessed a significant reduction in work-related injuries and incidents. By increasing OHS awareness among employees and promoting a strong safety culture, we achieved a remarkable decrease in workplace injuries. This was more than just a statistic; it was a testament to the positive impact of our training.
The feedback from Huawei’s employees was overwhelmingly positive. An impressive 97% of trainees reported a better understanding of safety protocols, which translated into safer work practices and a more vigilant workforce.

Our training sessions were comprehensive, covering essential topics such as hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response, and safety management systems.
